What to wear Christmas parties? It's always such a dilemma! At a time where our overdrafts are maxed out for gifts, dinners and festive socialising, we need a go-to party piece that's one look fits all. Something smart enough to wear to your office Christmas party but sexy enough to seduce a potential (or existing) suitor. Traditional enough for photos by the tree but free flowing enough to throw down on the dance floor. Let me introduce you to the perfect solution...
Comfy and classic but with a very modern twist, click 'read more' to see where this beauty is from...
Beautiful lined lace in a classic colour? Check. Elegant strapless neckline with boned support? Check. Sexy cinched waist complimented by a fantastically flattering bottom half? Check. Where is this beauty from? You ask. My one stop shopping destination for festive favourites, House of Fraser of course! They have looooads of beautiful jumpsuits in stock this season so you're bound to find the perfect one for you. Go on, have a little browse here.

What I love most about jumpsuits is how they're the perfect balance between modern and classic. At a glance this style looks like an elegant Audrey Hepburn-esque evening dress but as soon as you move it becomes clear that it's so much more. The addition of legs give jumpsuits a cool, modern twist over gowns. They're forgiving yet flattering, with enough volume to hide lumps and bumps whilst still showing the silhouette of your sexy pins as the flowy material skims your legs while you walk.

This playsuit is going to take pride of place in my wardrobe this season and long after. I think it's sooooo important when shopping on a budget to shop for pieces that will have longevity. Once the festive season is over, I'll pair this playsuit with loose sideswept hair waves, a bright clutch bag and some glittery wedge sandals and I'll be ready to head for edgier nights out. After all, to paraphrase Coco Chanel, you can never go wrong with a little black playsuit.
