With summer occasions at every turn, there's no doubt that many of us are wondering where we can buy beautiful dresses that will win us 'best dressed guest' without rendering us bankrupt at the same time.
Luckily for me (and, by extension, you) a lot of digging around online has lead me to discover a brand that has us totally covered. These are, hands down, the most beautiful selection of affordable, elegant event dresses I've ever laid eyes on. Fit for a Disney princess. Click 'read more' for details.
I was invited to a ball not long ago and, admittedly, left it a little later than I should have to sort my outfit... Cue a panicked late night internet scour on every site I could think of riding the emotional rollercoaster of, 'Oh, this one's beautiful! Oh, wait, it's £299. Perhaps not...'. Then, 'Hey, look! This one's in the sale! Oh. It's only in sizes 6 and 16...'. Anyway, somehow, eventually I stumbled across the brand Chi Chi London and there all my troubles melted away...
The first thing you'll notice about Chi Chi London are their floaty and feminine designs. In this heyday of slinky, skintight dresses these are feminine enough to have been pulled straight from a Disney classic. From their maxi dresses (ideal for wedding guest dressing) to their pleated party pieces (perfect for summer BBQs) - even their bodycon dresses are classy and cut to the knee. You can pretty much close your eyes, roulette scroll and point to any dress on the site, safe in the knowledge that it won't induce any funny looks from your elders at this summer's family functions.

The second thing I love about Chi Chi London is the prices. They look like expensive, even couture, pieces from a designer brand but they're actually a lot more affordable what's on the rails in department stores. Each of their hundreds of dresses (did I mention that the selection is insane) comes in under £85 which is a steal for such beautiful dresses!!
What impresses me most about Chi Chi London is how, despite their uber femininity, they manage to avoid their dresses looking overly old-fashioned. Light colours like pretty pinks and baby blue hues, mixed in with sheer overlays and off-the-shoulder cuts ensure that the dresses still look young and sexy but in a subtle, classy way. The unique design details like this silky material and dipped hem and their combination of cuts, colours and pretty prints are unlike anything else I've seen. These dresses look fashionably refreshing. Other favourites of mine from Chi Chi London include the Amal, the Mina and the Justice dresses, all gorgeous in their own right. Have a browse and see if there's something you love.
