Hey! I'm currently editing all of the photos from my Valencia trip and thought that I'd give you a preview with these outfit of the night pictures that we shot while we were out there.
I recently had the pleasure of picking out a beautiful dress* from House of Fraser, ready for the party season and this is how I styled it for a night out in Valencia.
The dress I picked, by tfnc London, is gorgeous and a nice mix between sexy and sweet. It has a high, haltered neckline and the hem hits just above the knee so it's conservative enough for a work Christmas do but its sexy, backless design with crossover straps also keeps it from being frumpy.

The fitted bodice is offset by the voluminous, bell skirt making it flirty and feminine - perfect for a date night too! Better yet it's only £21 - ridiculous! I definitely recommend browsing all of House of Fraser's dreamy dresses here, they have so many beautiful styles to choose from!
If you do want my dress you can go straight to that page here. It might help you to know that, using the size guide on the page, I found that the dress runs true to size. I am a UK 10 on top and I got it in a size small (I feel like you don't need to worry about what size you are on on the bottom as it's flared). The bodice does have some elasticity in it which makes it extra comfy and I was able to step into it rather than putting it over my head. This is my favourite way to put on a dress and it means I can get dressed when I want and not have to worry about either ruining my hair when I pull my dress over my head afterwards or dressing first and risking spilling face powder all over the pretty dress!
I've been watching so much Pretty Little Liars recently (I'm only on season two so no spoilers please!) and I've been hypnotised by all of the bouncy, waved hair so I decided do a sultry, side swept look for this outfit.
I didn't want the outfit to look too sweet, so I accessorised it with a chunky, gunmetal necklace by Made by Jade, a silver and black manicure and some silver knuckle rings to add some edge. As you can see, the dress is made from a type of thick, waffle knit material that feels like scuba. Not only is it interesting to look at but it also means that the dress is warm and fits really flatteringly as it kind of pulls everything in and smooths it out - winning.
It got a little chillier in the evening so I wrapped myself up in this faux fur scarf by Urbancode which I picked up at ASOS the other week. It is soooo warm, literally it is my favourite thing right now, in face I have just made a mental note to include it in my November Favourites video for my YouTube channel. Fun story, someone tried to steal it from me in a club last night in London but luckily I thwarted them. Aaaanyway, I highly recommend a faux fur scarf as it looks as great with an evening dress and it does with jeans and a t-shirt. This one's not on the website right now but ASOS do have a really similar one here. Remember they also have 20% off everything this weekend for Black Friday - woop woop!
I have finally bowed down and given in to the gorgeousness of the fluffy sandal trend. For the longest time I resisted, mainly because I have quite a pairs of perfectly good sandals and didn't feel like spending money on another, and then I came up with the perfect solution. I've designed some stick on fluff strips, or shoebrows as I'm naming them, for my accessory store Made by Jade so that you can transform your favourite heels on the cheap rather than buying a whole new pair - genius huh? (If I do say some myself!).
I stuck to my favourite gold and bronze eyeshadow combo for this look and went with dark burgundy lips as I thought that a dark and mysterious look would offset the apron-shaped dress much more interestingly that something obvious like a cutesy pink or an overtly sexy red. I feel like my eyes and teeth look really yellow in this photo but it's only because the light had started to fade by the time we shot these and the Valencian street lamps came on casting an orangey-yellow hue over everything. Next time I'll learn to get ready faster!
I seriously recommend checking out the House of Fraser dress sale, I was astounded at how affordable the dresses are and whether you're planning for a Christmas party, New Years, Valentine's Day or just because, I'm convinced that you'll find something that catches your eye.
